Before you know it, it was already two days before Halloween. You were getting used to Arthur’s presence, but it still irritated when he teases you. And on top of that, you were so busy helping out your cousins and friends with decorating the school auditorium; you forgot the main thing for the event. The one thing that you told yourself repeatedly that you would never ever slip your mind…

“Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!” You walked back and forth from your door room to the window.

“Whoa! Whoa! Calm down, love. What are you fretting on about?” Arthur asks, lying down as he floats on the air.

“It’s two days before Halloween! How could I lose track of the tome?! And what’s worse, I don’t even have an idea what to wear!”

“Relax, _____. There are many to choose from! How about dressing up as a zombie?”

“Lovino is doing that! And I did that last year!”

“How about something cute then?”

“Are you kidding me?!”

Arthur chuckles. “Hmm… then how about a ghost? Then we’d be perfect for—”

You scratch your head. “I did that so many times! And I already have a ghost in my presence thank you very much!”

“ARGGGGHHH!! What the heck am I gonna do?!”

Arthur was soon distracted after hearing your frustration. He observes you throwing your clothes out of the closet and fixing them up again. He wonders what was the point of tossing them all out and placing them back in?

He just didn’t—oh, hold on. Women. “How about calming down first, love?”

You turn and see him smirking at you, which only ticks you off even more. “YOU! Shut. UP!”

Arthur rolls his eyes and yet he smiles playfully. “Alright, alright. But really, _____. Calm down,” he says gently. You were about to yell at him when he spoke, but his low voice did let you feel at ease. You didn’t even realize you were staring at him.

And of course… the clever Captain Arthur takes notice of it. “Oh? What’s with that look? Have you finally fallen for me?” he teases. “Hahaha—“

You sent your biggest pillow flying to his face.

“OI! What was that for?!”

“You’re annoying.”

Arthur sticks out his tongue. “How rude!” Then he says, “I almost forgot that you can do that…”

You raise a brow. “Do what?”

“Silly, what else? Let material things be felt by us through you…like that blasted cushion being thrown at my face just now~”

It was your turn to stick out your tongue. “You deserve it anyway. And instead of pissing me off, Arthur, you could at least help me.”

He giggles. “Fine, fine~ as you wish, princess.”

“Stop calling me that…or whatever nicknames you have for me.”

“Nope! I will call you how I please.”

“Geez, Arthur! Give me a break!” you say angrily.

Suddenly, he gets back on his feet and he raises both his hands. “Since my precious _____ is stressing herself so much, I have a plan~”

“No. anything that comes from that mouth of yours is always silly.”

“Oh c’mon! At least hear me out!”

You sigh, “Okay, what do you want?”

He chuckles and takes both your hands. “This can help you think clearly about your costume. Let’s see… what was that word those kids use again…? They just relax and have a good time together… And they have fun going out… Hmm…”

He must be talking about hang-outs. You thought. He was taking too long thinking and you were getting impatient. “Arthur—”

“Ah! I got it!” he suddenly says.

You sigh again, and say sarcastically. “Please. Enlighten me.”

“You and I are going out on a date!”
